I ve been having pains in my lower abdomen and back. The doctors said that they didn t know what it could be. I have also been nauseous in the early morning around 4 am to 8 am. I took pregnancy tests but the urine tests were negative. My last period was Feb.14 and I haven t gotten my period yet. I am not on birth control or any other medications.

Hello,

If you were sexually active then you can be pregnant. Sometimes, HCG takes a longer time to appear in urine. You are advised to get a blood test for pregnancy done or wait for a couple of days and repeat pregnancy test with the first morning, mid-stream urine. Get a vaginal examination by a gynecologist to detect bulky uterus.

Your treating gynecologist may tell you to do required blood tests or USG (Uterus with fallopian tubes) to detect ectopic pregnancy or to assess the gestational age of the fetus. You can take antacid to help reduce the discomfort. Avoid constipation, take plenty of water and fluids to stay hydrated and for a better bowel movement. Do regular walking.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
