Have Mania. Take Lithium since 1974 Have many side effects neuropathy / carpal tunnel like symptoms. Thus I take a low dose of Lithium. 100 to 200 mg Lithium CR at evening. Also take Seraquel or xanax they cause joint pain, nerve pain. Age 67 male. Need a new class or type of meds Thanks

my son takes gabapentin for bipolar disorder. he is in a manic episode. he will not go tot the hospital. i have several old meds that could maybe help him, but am afraid they will interact badly with the gabapentin. can he take zyprexa, seroquel, or trazadone with gabapentin?
