Brief Answer:
Hi,

Detailed Answer:
Smell from the sweat in any part of body, may be due to fungal or bacterial infection etc. Groin part is generally covered with clothes & not exposed to light, air &Sun most of the times & hence the moisture is retained, giving rise to colonisation of bacteria. One thing to be taken in mind,is that these bacteria of this area may be normally inhabiting bacteria & may not be pathological. But these may produce bad odour. Some of the bacteria for example, may produce acetic acid, which may give smell like vinegar. Also, skin layers of groin are supplied by special glands, known as apocrine glands. When the secretions of these glands, mix with sweat & other body fluids,it may give unpleasant smell.
Also, release of urine may also give rise to foul smell.
Tips for avoiding bad smell in groin--
Try to keep pubic skin dry & cool. Also trim the pubic hair or keep these short,as pubic hair can trap moisture & cause colonisation of bacteria.
Frequent washing & cleaning of penis & groin area with soap & keeping it dry.
Shower may be with simple water & applying some scented oil like almond etc.
Using 100% cotton undergarments & changing these frequently. These should be loose fitting & not tight. Wipe after every time when you pee.
By taking these measures, you should be relieved from the bad odour.
I think, that gives you the required solution. Any querry further will be tried to reply from my side. Have a good luck.
