Brief Answer:
Hospital visit, general examination and investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hi Drashti,
Congratulations.
According to your last menstrual period at present the gestational age is 7 weeks 4 days.

Now the possible steps that can help you are:
-You need one hospital visit to consult Gynecologist for the general examination. And general investigations needed are complete blood picture, blood sugar levels, viral markers, renal function tests, blood grouping and typing, thyroid profile, urine routine and microscopy and ECG.
- You need one antenatal ultrasound to confirm the intrauterine pregnancy and also to estimate the gestational age.
- Regarding medicines you have to take the folic acid supplementation.
Natural micronised progesterone supplements if suggested by your doctor.
-You can take a regular healthy, balanced diet. You should include milk, fresh fruits, vegetables, cereals, egg, preferably boiled, meat etc. in your diet.
You can take the food by dividing into 3 main meals and 2 snacks.
- You should have 7 to 8 hours sleep per day, rest for about half an hour to one hour is advisable during the afternoon. You can do regular walking, but avoid brisk walking and stressful exercises.
- Regarding the phone call or online chat, please consult through customer care.

Thank you for all the info provided. It would really help if you could suggest the required tests out of all the tests you mentioned above which are to be done actually.

Please dont take it negatively. I just want to know out of all you mentioned above which are required to be done, so we do not carry out certain tests which are not neccessary.

Thanks much for your support.

Brief Answer:
Better to undergo all of them

Detailed Answer:
Hi Drashti,

Yes, I know the tests are more in number, but all these tests are required during the initial visit of pregnancy. On the next visits depends on the need, only required tests can be repeated. As abnormality in any of these can affect the pregnancy and the growth of the baby, better to undergo all of them according to my opinion and present protocol.
If you still want, I can suggest, among them renal function tests and ECG can be taken after your doctor's advice.

Hope I have answered your query. Will be happy to answer further follow up queries.
