Brief Answer:
Consult ENT specialist at least once would be advisable.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to health care magic,

Trauma to the ear canal might cause bleeding which you found on your Q tips for the past 2 days.

This is usually is not a significant injury especially when it is just a trace and not associated with ear pain or hearing problem. So,there is no need to much worry about it.

The chance of ear drum injury would be very uncommon in this trace blood but you should get examined your ear by an ENT specialist at least once to be in the safer side.

If you were my patient then I will do ear canal inspection by otoscope to rule out any injury to the ear drum.

So, better to consult ENT doctor at least once.

Regards,

Dr.SandipKabra
