Brief Answer:
Need to check for Diabetes and cholesterol levels.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

Fatty infiltration of liver means there is deposition of fat over the liver . Normally also there is fat deposition over the liver but it will be less in quantity. In your case it is slightly more and hence is noticed on the scan .

Now coming to the causes of fatty infiltration , it can happen due to Physical Inactivity, High Blood Cholesterol , Diabetes or excess Alcohol consumption.

In that regard I would advise you to get checked for Diabetes and your cholesterol levels . If they are normal it means the cause is due to less physical activity ( unless you consume too much alcohol -- in that case stop taking Alcohol ).

Just do daily exercise like Brisk walking for 20-30 minutes daily and that would be enough .

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.

Regards.
