Brief Answer:
Molluscum contagiosum

Detailed Answer:
Hi, XXXXXXX .

I read history and saw the photo. Most probable diagnosis may be molluscum contagiosum. It is a viral infection caused by molluscum contagiosum virus. It is a highly infectious and contagious skin disease. There may be multiple whitish raised papular eruptions. It is spread by skin to skin contact as well as through fomites like clothes, towel, scissor, blade and razor. You probably got it at barbar shop through infected towel, blade or scissor. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment. I usually in my patients having such disease prefer electrocautery as treatment method. It is a minor OPD procedure done under local anaesthesia. Other methods are cryotherapy, chemical cautery and laser therapy.

Other problems you complained of hair loss and acne. These are not related with molluscum contagiosum and both may be treated seperately. For acne, I in my patents give either minocycline or azithromycine in proper doses and advise to apply clindamycine or adapalene gel as required. For the hair loss, you may be investigated to find out some cause and treament may be given accordingly.

I hope you got my answer..still, any query..you may ask.

Thanks.

Have XXXXXXX and good health always..

Thanks

Dear Doctor,

My friend had the similar form of bumps/warts on his face. His doctor had given him a liquid to apply on the infection, it first turned black, dried and vanished.

In my case is it good to use some kind of similar liquid. Please suggest.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..

Welcome back..

Sure.. You can apply the same liquid. It may be salicylic acid with lactic acid solution
...you did not give the name of solution. No problem..just check the content of solution, if it contains above mentioned chemicals, then you apply on the lesions once a day till they become black. You might get good result. But, you should consult dermatologist for perfect diagnosis and under his guidance you sholuld take treatment. He may give treament to prevent the relapse of the disease.

I hope you will follow my advice..

With good wishes..

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome back..

The solution is containing acids like salicylic acid and lactic acid. Many companies make this solution under different names. ..like salactin lotion, ewart lotion..and so on. You can not take directely from medical store. So, you must consult dermatologist and have prescription of this solution...and buy it. Your doctor may prescribe this lotion according to availabilty. I hope you understand my view...ok

Thanks..
