Question: I suddenly started geting gas , bloating and difficulty breathing sfter some meals. I have nevrr had this beford.i am male 65 yrs. I took digest gold a digestive enzyme supplemrnt and all symptoms vanished.
What could be the cause?

After reading your post, it seems that your symptoms might be due to gastritis.
You can take an antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day before meals along with Domperidone 30mg and a probiotic.
You should avoid spicy and oily foods. Also avoid being empty stomach for long periods. Foods producing excessive gas should be avoided. Also drink lots of water daily.
An Endoscopy and
an ECG will help in
planning further medical management.
