Yes,Each of the food groups definitely got its own benefits. But in everday's diet,It is advisable to include in a balanced form
1) whole grains(Brown rice,oats,quinoa,whole wheat flour etc)
2)fruits(2 to 3 serving a day),
3)Fresh vegetables(especially include greens and green leafy vegetables twice or thrice a week )
4)proteins in the form of poultry meat,legumes,soya bean,cereal sprouts etc
5)dairy products(like yoghurt,low to moderate fat milk etc)
