Hello!

Welcome on - Ask a Doctor - sevice!

I reviewed your uploaded ECG and would like to explain that it seems to be almost normal. There are only skme nonspecific findings (P wave pattern in DII and slight ST fluctuation in DIII).

Nevertheless, you should know that ECG is considered an auxiliary test and should be judged in the context of a specific clinical symptomatology.

I would like to know your clinical symptoms and signs in order to help you in further clinical investigation.

I remain at your disposal in case of any further available medical information.

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Considering the fact, you experienced chesf psin and your ECG appears normal, then it is important to obtain more clinical features regardinf your pain.
It is necessary to know pain characteristics, its duration, exact location and possible irradiation.
Other health conditions may resemble and mimick an ischemic cardiac chest pain and a careful differential diagnosis needs to be done.
Coming to this point, other tests including cardiac enzymes (CK-MB and troponin) and a cardiac ultrasound would be helpful.
In case you have coronary risk factors (hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, are a cigarette smoker or have a strong heredity for CAD) and the above tests result normal, probably a cardiac stress test or a coronary angioCT would give additional information in this regard.

You need to discuss with your attending physician on the above mentioned issues.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,

Dr.Iliri

Brief Answer:
The uploaded ECGs are both the same.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

I carefully reviewed both of your uploaded ECGs and would explain that despite the slightly different interpretations of the ECG machine software they are exactly the same.

So, nothing to worry about regarding the ECGs!

Considering the fact you have experienced chest pain, in case the symptoms relapse again, it is worth following a careful differential diagnosis to find the exact nature of your complaints.

Several reasons other than cardiac issue should be sought (pleural, musculoskeletal, gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux, hiatal hernia, esophageal spasm, backbone disorders, etc.) considering also anxiety disorders such as panic attacks.

As your already performed cardiac tests have concluded normal, there is a very low probability of any cardiac issue. So no further cardiac investigations are necessary.

Only if you have coronary risk factors as I mentioned about and the pain characteristics are highly suspicious, it will be indicated a coronary angioCT.

Wishing you a good health!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
