General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Doralac and Econorm both are probiotics which work by restoring the balance of good bacteria in the intestine, that may get upset by use of antibiotics or by the presence of some infections. Therefore, these may help in controlling diarrhea and vomiting. As both of these drugs are probiotic, hence these may be safely given one in the place of other.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
