Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Heavy flow and irregular menstruation are the chief symptoms when fibroid is present. Hormonal preparations such as Primolut-N will only help to control the bleeding temporarily. If the irregularity in periods continues, then you need to be evaluated clinically and undergo surgical removal of fibroid. Kindly consult Gynecologist for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope the information provided helps. All the best.

Regards,

Dr. Ashakiran. S
