Does Alcohol Consumption Affect Vaxirab N Vaccination Taken After Dog Bite?

I d got bitten by a stray dog and was given vaxirab n. Now i ve already taken four injections and still yet to get one more. And i also consume quite a lot of alcohol. So does it affect how the vaccine works?? Is there a chance that i could get rabies due to the alcohol i consume? I ve also read few blogs which mentioned that i would start to get flames in my throat and itchiness if i have rabbies, which is actually happening to me right now. So if there s any suggestion or things that i should know, please do let me know. Thank you.

Hello,

Alcohol does not interfere with the vaccine. So, please try to relax and don't worry about it! There are really low chances that you get rabies after taking this vaccine.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
