Does Being Repeatedly Bitten By A Puppy Need Repeated Vaccinations?
Hi, my kid 3 year old got bitten by my puppy (only scratch yet it has blood) she had her anti rabies and vaccine yet after a month she got bitten again by the same puppy (only scratch yet it has blood). Would I need to inject her with an anti rabies again?

Rabies prophylaxis is recommended for dog bite. One dose of the vaccine is administered on days 0, 3, 7, 14 and 30 intramuscularly into the deltoid region.
The effect of the vaccine persists for one year. So there is no need to take vaccine again. But after one year, if, dog bites again then you have to take vaccine. Rabies vaccination is available for dog also. So please vaccinate your dog.
