How Can I Address Rising SGPT And SGOT Levels After Jaundice History And Lifestyle Changes?

Hi. I had a history of jaundice in the year of 2020 with an upgradation of SGPT at 2500. But after that, I came back to normal life. Right now, I m facing a rise of SGPT at 91 and SGOT at 48. I used to drink a lot one month before. But I don t do that anymore. Also, with that, I m decreasing the count of smoking to a level of 3 from 7-10. Right now, what should I do now? P.S: I m using ENSULES PLUS 400 1 CAP 2 times daily after meal.

Hello,

Taking excessive alcohol may cause fatty liver, you are suggested to take more veggies, green leafy vegetables, food rich in omega 3 fatty acids, walnuts, walnuts, garlic, oats, berries, fruits, and food rich in vitamin E. Switch to heathy living to help reduce SGOT/SGPT level, do regular exercises and walking twice daily. Reduce weight if obese, avoid taking salty food and sodium rich food in your diet.

Take plant-based food and increase vitamin D in your diet. Avoid taking processed food, refined flour, hard to digest food, oily spicy junk food. Take water after boiling and cooling it. You should take home made food, preferably boiled food or food cooked in olive oil. Take liver tonics- (Liv 52) and digestives (aristo zyme) to help better digestion of food.

Get liver function tests done after 45-50 days of strict diet control & after maintaining healthy lifestyle, your SGOT /SGPT level should decrease. If not get a liver biopsy done. You will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
