How Do I Identify If My LFT Test Report Is Normal For A Young Adult?

Sir my LFT test bilirubin is 0.4 total bilirubin is 0.1 direct bilirubin is 0.3 indirect Sgpt(AlT) is 48 Sgot (AST) 31 Alkaline phosphatase 64 Gamma GT is 41 Albumim 5.0 Globulins 2.9 Total Protein 7.9 A:G Ratio 1.7 Sir it can be normal my age is 23 years LFT normal? PLZ HELP ME

Hi,

Your results for your LFT parameters are very much in normal range, as required by an adult male. Though, standard range of different laboratory may be slightly different & also there may be slight variations for women and children. Still, your results are in desired range. However, for a complete evaluation of liver condition, your doctor may need some more tests or imaging etc. particularly in case of confirming a suspicious liver condition or evaluating the progress in some liver disease.
