Is Oxazepam Safe For Codeine Withdrawal?

I have just stopped a 10 year addiction to codeine pills. Iwas in hospital with a very low blood count. About half the blood I needed was gone from my body as I was bleeding from my throught because of the pills.Iam seeing my doctor again this arfternoon but I am wondering if he will stop the withdrawal medication.Iknow I ll need it still its oxazepam and its only day11 for me but I am still withdrawing. The medication works and I am at a point where I am trying to change my lifestyle. My husband is a bit mentally ill due to hydro marriguana and adhd medication, so I am at my Mums withdrawing and everyday I feel a little bit stronger but today I am very down. I am hoping my doctor can help keep me on these oxazepams till I am stronger . What do you think?

Hi,

Only if you are taking drinks it is not safe. Caution and under monitoring, Oxazepam can lead to sedation. Also, join online meditation breath workshops, art of living, they have proved to be very helpful in taking self esteem high and helps in proper counseling too.
