Should I Be Concerned About Dryness, Hotness And Soreness On The Face After Sickness And Diarrhea In A Diabetic State?

I have diabetes and I have had sickness and diareah for the last few days, it's seems to have stopped now but I am still feeling very poorly. My concern at the moment is my face has become very dry and red and feels very hot and sore to the point where it hurts if I move it, is there anything to worry about ?

Hello

The main problem with diarrhea in diabetes is dehydration and hypoglycemia.
Drieness and pain may be due to dehydration.
I would advice my patient to take plenty of oral fluids to overcome dehydration.
Secondly monitor the blood sugar regularly and adjust the dosage of the drugs accordingly to prevent hypoglycemia.
Eat frequent small meal to prevent hypoglycemic.
