Hi,

Your husband had cough and congestion and you said he was started on leveling 500- I suppose it must be an antibiotic levofloxacin 500 mg. The complaints of nausea, cold clammy skin, and generalized weakness could be due to viral infection and upper respiratory infection which he seems to be suffering from. Also sometimes the medicines we take like antibiotics, also sometimes cause nausea and stomach discomfort.

So I feel keep the food light, take in plenty of water, avoid spicy and junk food and have plenty of fruits and vegetables. If the symptoms do not resolve in 2 or 3 days, then I feel you should go for some routine investigations like complete blood count, liver function tests, typhoid etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
