What Causes Painful Blister Like Spot At The Base Of Penis?

Hey there. So I m getting a spot on the base of my penis that hurts and looks blistering. It has happened three times now in the same exact spot and looks the exact same as before. It sends radiating pains through my thigh muscle as well as through my testicals and in my lower back. I had a doc look before and he diagnosed it as folliculitis. But it s been 5 months since the last time. No signs no warning, just starts feeling irritated then a small bump, then within 24 hours it has blistered up 2-3 times bigger. It stays in the same location, feels the same every time and then it s gone in about 7 days. Doc even said it didn t look at all like herpes and it does not open up into an open soar like herpes. The pain I would explain like a dull radiating pain from the spot and then the pain moves down into my testicals and leg muscle. Any thoughts...?...

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.....
Thank you for your post.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
By your description it seems that you have (FDE) Fixed drug eruption.
It presents in the same way as you have described. Lesions appear in the same spot over and over when you are taking a drug that you could be allergic to. Kindly note down if you have taken same drugs before everytime you get the blister. If you can avoid it or go for alternative drug these problems can be avoided.
Hope i have cleared your query.
Take care. Bye.
