What Causes Red Rashes With Diarrhea?

i apparently have been bitten by some type of spider. area has 2 small holes and is raised and red...about nickel size. Do not know when bite actually occured. started feeling very nautious yesterday afternoon and woke up this morning with diarreah. what could this possibly be and do I need to see a doctor?

Hello,

You are suffering from red rashes after spider bite. You are also having diarrhea. Diarrhea is commonly caused when the venom of the spider causes spider- specific anaphylaxis reaction, commonly when bitten by black widow spider.

Neglect may cause severe reactions like swelling around the eyes or lips, itching all over the body, hives, etc. You are advised to visit ER and get clinically examined, you may need antivenom. Neglect may cause severe pain or life-threatening symptoms. Symptoms would ease within 30 minutes or so after receiving anti-venom.

In the meantime, clean the wound with mild soap and water. Apply an antibiotic ointment like Soframycin. Apply a cool compress to reduce pain and swelling. You can take Acetaminophen to help reduce pain and inflammation. Take antihistamine to help reduce allergic reactions. Do not neglect, get treated at the earliest.
