Hello,

Stop using ointment that you are using, do not apply any makeup or cosmetic beauty products as they all contain chemical ingredients that can trigger your skin reactions or cause side effects. Take care of your hygiene, be gentle with your skin and wash it with water 2-3 times a day. You can apply a thin layer of Soframycin cream on the area affected for relieve.

Applying a thin layer of water-based aloe vera cream will be helpful. Do not touch, scratch or pick. To help reduce the swelling, and other allergic reaction, you can take antihistamine at bedtime. Take acetaminophen, one stat after food to help reduce inflammation and pain. Your symptoms may be indicative of allergic reaction, insect bite, side effect of taking certain medication, side effect of beauty cosmetics that you have used without sensitivity testing, etc.

Bumps on the lips may be indicative of STIs, to stay on the safer side get STD tests done. In case report is positive it will be treated with antibiotics / antivirals. Avoid direct exposure to sun, avoid taking hot spicy oily food. Do not smoke, do not take alcohol, or drugs. Get clinically examined by a dermatologist if symptoms persist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
