Question: I had wisdom tooth with cavity infection, I observed it recently and consulted a doctor, he mentioned that this is sleeping wisdom teeth and due to food storing in the gap it effected with cavity, he suggested to remove the teethi dont have any pain or swelling or any othe issue only thing is i can see it as black i want to know do we have any other treatment than removing tooth, i have attached the xray and tooth pic, please suggest

Well, I have seen the x rays and it shows that the wisdom tooth is almost completely horizontally erupted..
It is also appearing decayed and as it is horizontal, treatment of the tooth is very difficult..
It can even cause decay in the adjacent molar tooth ...
So it is best advisable to get the tooth removed by an Oral Surgeon...
