What Causes Puss Filled Sores On Vaginal Area?

Hi I have found some sores on my vagina on the outside and one what seem puss filled on my Labia minora. It is very very painful and even hurts to wear underwear. I know it isn t an STI because my partner and I are faithful. Nor does he have an signs or sores that I know of. What else could this be?

Pus filled sores on your vagina and labia minora occur due to vulvovaginitis, Bartholin's cyst, contact dermatitis, etc. Take naproxen, one stat after food to get rid of pain and hurt. Warm compress may help. Get it clinically examined by a Gynae or visit ER, Depending on the condition you will be asked to do, tests like vaginal swabs, blood tests, or biopsies.

Get the wound cleaned, drained and antiseptic dressing done. Visit ER every alternate day and get the wound cleaned and antiseptic dressing done. You can take a course of augmentin orally, so that the healing can be faster and to prevent it from getting infected. However, to be on the safer side, get STD tests done to rule out herpes, genital warts, chancroid, syphilis, etc. Take antibiotics and antivirals if the test shows positive report.
